Weekly Announcements
Mark your calendars! Joyful Noise presents "Everybody Has Music Inside" on May 11 at 6:30pm in the Crawford Center. They will be joined by our chancel choir and that from Community Presbyterian in Pinehurst for a few selections as well. It's going to be a wonderful evening of musical "JOY" that you will not want to miss. 
Our youth group finishes out their year with a chicken hunt, where they travel to church members' homes and complete silly scavenger hunt tasks for points. If you would like to be on a list groups can use to complete their tasks, please let Elizabeth know ASAP here. 
Join us for an afternoon of fun and fellowship! On Sunday, May 31 baseball fans should plan to join WEPC from 12:30pm-6pm at the Greensboro Grasshoppers baseball game. Tickets are $15. Contact Elizabeth that you would like to attend by May 10,

Attention All Cooks!
We could always use meals/snacks for our youth programs. Willing cooks should contact Elizabeth. 
Change for HaitiCheck your pockets, purses, and even sofas for extra change that you may have. Place it in the marked jar in the Narthex. We will make sure your offering goes to Pastor Sidor of Haiti Help and Hope. He oversees five churches and a school. His mission is to feed and educate the children, and teach them about God's love. Haiti is ranked #1 of the ten poorest countries in the world. 
The Sandhills/Moore Coalition's mission is to "alleviate hunger and financial strains of struggling households in Moore County." WEPC supports the Coalition by providing 1lb bags of rice. Drop your donations in the basket in the church narthex. |
